We’re very excited to have received our first samples of SapienStone, a stunning porcelain countertop range. Natural and polished finishes are available, and we’re more than taken with them all, especially the black Dark Marquina used in this concept. Isn’t it stunning?
Best of both
Not only is the range beautiful and luxurious, but this is a very practical, hard-wearing product. SapienStone slabs are unaffected by heat, light, chemical cleaners or disinfectant products making the porcelain extremely hardworking and low maintenance for busy family kitchens. The slabs require no special attention to maintain them in peak condition and are also unaffected by lemon and vinegar.
SapienStone is a non-absorbent surface making it very hygienic too. The resistance to thermal shock is particularly useful as it can withstand hot pans and dishes in direct contact.
Porcelain with a difference
Where it differs from many high-end porcelain products is the manufacturing process. The slabs are made using ceramic clays, and mineral colouring and the veining and patterns run right the way through the slab.
Multi-purpose
The porcelain is so hardy that it can be used indoors and outside, making it the perfect choice for an outdoor kitchen. Hardy, low maintenance and stylish to boot, we’re loving rummaging through our new samples and deliberating over our favourites.
