We are proud to share that Ned, our Head Fitter and one of the most popular members of the Kitchens Bespoke Team, was shortlisted for an award at the 2026 KBB Review Retail & Design Awards.
We nominated Ned for the Unsung Hero Award because we know how much our customers value his experience, expertise and kindness, and we know how much we value his skills, his care of our customers and the exceptional attention to detail he applies to every job, but we really wanted to show Ned how much we all value him.
On the job
Ned heads up our team of fitters, bringing a wealth of experience and possessing the rare people skills that enable him to get along with everyone. Customers know they are in safe hands as soon as they meet him. He is acutely aware of how intrusive a big home renovation project can be and goes above and beyond to minimise disruption, manage the site’s tidiness, communicate regularly with customers to keep them informed, accommodate their pets, and look after their home.
The last experience every customer has of our business is the installation phase, so the impact our fitters have on our customers cannot be underestimated. Transforming someone’s home far beyond their imagination and expectation is utterly reliant on having the right personalities and skills in the fitting team. Trusting our fitters will go above and beyond to deliver this transformation is fundamental in the Kitchens Bespoke experience. Not only is Ned a fantastic fitter himself, on-site, he mentors and trains younger fitters, setting the tone for an organised, calm, and professional workspace. We receive numerous reviews commenting on the quality of our fitters, and we believe this is a testament to Ned’s influence across the whole team.
