Blue shaker style kitchen

In this petite but perfectly formed cottage kitchen, this blue in-frame shaker kitchen in Little Greene Paint Company’s ‘Juniper Ash’ is the hero. This is a wonderfully rich indigo blue and with the white quartz top and glass splashback, it creates ambience and atmosphere without compromising on the light or making the space feel smaller.

Contemporary blue kitchen inspiration

Contemporary Blue Handless Kitchen

The right blue on an ultra-modern, handleless design creates such a fabulous statement. This kitchen formed part of a new extension so flooded the area with natural light. This abundance of light and a fresh new space enabled our customers to opt for something very contemporary and a beautiful deep blue.

The use of blue in this kitchen below is really clever, by putting the colour on the wall, it provides more of a ‘pop’ of colour. This pop of colour is such a great backdrop to the high gloss modern handleless kitchen. What’s really great about using such a bold colour in this way is that you only need to get the walls repainted if you fall out of love with it. Who could fall out of love with this blue? But if you did, you have inexpensive options to change it!

Cool blue but without the drama

Pale blue in frame shaker

In this kitchen we love the cool blue tone and how fresh it makes this space feel. It is softer than using white and more contemporary than using a cream but still feels so light and airy.

The use of wood on the island softens the whole scheme too, a lovely marriage of classic and contemporary style.

Celebrating contrast

bespoke pantry

In this creamy shaker kitchen designed for a home with stunning period features, there is a fabulous contrast between the main kitchen furniture and pantry. It is an electric, teal like blue which really adds a contemporary feel to a traditional shaker kitchen. We love the exciting pop of colour the pantry provides without dominating the space or lovely period features.
